What is two hand ignition ?

The two hand ignition is when you have a separate button on your cooker that you must push in at the same time as turning on the gas on your hob, oven or grill in order for the flame to ignite.

Please note that most freestanding gas cookers now require to be plugged in using a standard 3 pin plug socket.

This powers your ignition, oven light and timer / programmer (should your model have them).
