We make every effort to display product colours and specifications accurately
Product availability is subject to change without notice
All products are subject to availability and confirmation of order

Showroom visits are welcome during opening hours
Appointments are recommended for detailed consultations

Parts availability can be checked by contacting our showroom
Special orders can be arranged for items not in stock

3. Installation Requirements

⚠️ Important Safety Notice

All appliances must be installed by a competent person in accordance with Irish regulations and manufacturer instructions.

3.1 Gas Appliances

All gas appliances must be installed by a Registered Gas Installer (RGI)
Installation must comply with Irish gas safety regulations and standards
A gas safety certificate must be issued upon completion of installation
Only RGI registered professionals are legally permitted to work on gas appliances in Ireland

3.2 Electrical Appliances

Electrical appliances requiring hardwiring must be installed by a qualified electrician
Installation must comply with Irish electrical safety standards (I.S. 10101)
Electrical work must be carried out in accordance with ETCI rules
An electrical safety certificate may be required for certain installations

3.3 Customer Responsibility

It is the customer's responsibility to arrange appropriate professional installation
We can provide guidance on installation requirements but do not provide installation services
Failure to use qualified installers may void manufacturer warranties
Improper installation may create safety hazards and legal liability
Incorrect or illegal installation will void all warranties

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Pricing

All prices are in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable
Prices are subject to change without notice
Delivery costs are quoted separately
Trade pricing is available for registered trade customers

4.2 Payment

Payment is required before delivery unless credit terms are agreed
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers
For large orders, deposit payments may be required

5. Delivery

Delivery is available throughout Ireland
Delivery charges vary by location and product size
Delivery times are estimates and subject to availability
Someone must be present to accept delivery
Large appliances may require curbside delivery only
Installation is not included and must be arranged separately by the customer with appropriate qualified professionals

6. Returns & Refunds

Your rights as a consumer are protected under Irish and EU consumer protection laws.

6.1 Consumer Rights

You have the right to cancel online purchases within 14 days
Products must be returned in original condition and packaging
Custom-built or personalised items may not be returnable
Return shipping costs may apply unless the product is faulty

We will repair, replace, or refund faulty products
Please contact us immediately if you receive a faulty product
We cover return shipping costs for faulty items

7. Warranties

All products come with manufacturer warranties
Warranty periods vary by product and manufacturer

Important: Warranties may be void if appliances are not installed by qualified professionals in accordance with regulations
Incorrect or illegal installation will void all warranties and may result in safety hazards

Typically, it consists of two vertical posts, known as uprights, connected by a horizontal crossbar at the top.

So I guess now you are now asking "What Has a goal post got to do with my new Gas Fire?

- It's really for this reason we describe our fireplace alteration process to customers as a "Marble Goal Post Alteration" . This process coverts your old existing fireplace opening to a standard 3 sided area -Just like a goalpost.

The objective is to create a suitable and safe sealable are for the new gas fire. The size, shape, and exact positioning of goalposts can vary depending on the fire type, but their primary function is to define the sealing area on the gas fire.

Please see a few examples below that explain just some of the process we can arrange to make your fireplace suitable for your new gas fire.

Case Study 1 : Old Tarnished Fireplace Frame Removal

In the first instance below we were able to arrange the removal of the old "Tired Tarnished Frame" using a diamond cutting machine . We then replaced the frame area with a section of polished & tailored granite -this left us with a standard opening for the new gas fire.

Case Study 2 : A Full Fireplace Panel Replacement

In this particular instance the customer had an old in efficient decorative gas fire with tired slate panel with a tarnished old brass brass frame.

We were able to arrange the old frame and panel to be removed and totally replaced with a new slate panel, and the old slate hearth was the re oiled with stone oil to blend in with new slate.

Case Study 3 : Fireplace removal to accommodate a Wall Fire.

In this instance below the customer wall looking to totally modernise the room so we arrange for the fireplace to be totally remove , a new cavity to be prepared for the new wall fire, and full plastering of the wall. Finally supply and installation of a Geo Cast Concrete wood beam in oak

In the instance below the customer had a low efficiecncy coal effect fire. In the process the fireplace fitter was able to replace the old tired Victorian Tiled Cast Inset panel with a polished granite black panel to allow the Sirocco S4000 High Efficiency Gas Fire to be fitted , saving the customer over €2000 on a haveing to replace the full fireplace.

This 1st customer below had an old in efficient basket gas fire (a Gas Guzzler).

We were able to reduce the opening size of the old 70's brick fireplace to create this bespoke polished granite feature to utilize the old fireplace to suit a New High Efficiency Gas Fire

-Origional Victorian Fireplace

This customer below had an old in efficient basket coal fire with an open chimney sucking heat from the room.

We were able to close the chimney off and install an ECODESIGN HD450 Electric fire to create this bespoke polished granite feature and utilize the old fireplace to suit a New High Efficiency Electric Fire
