The Mystic wall-mounted vapour fireplace delivers a stunning, ultra-realistic flame effect using water vapour rather than combustion. It’s ideal for creating ambiance without heat, smoke, or the complexity of traditional fireplaces. As featured in the CACH Fires water vapour fireplace collection (listed as “Mystic Wall-Mounted Water Vapour Fireplace - Black”)  this model combines modern aesthetics with advanced flame illusion technology.

How It Works

Water + Electricity Base
The unit requires a small internal water tank (filled with tap water) and standard mains power (electricity). There is no fuel like gas or wood involved.

Ultrasonic Transducer → Fine Mist
Inside the firebox is a transducer (an ultrasonic module) which vibrates at high frequency, atomising the water into a fine micro-mist. This forms the “smoke / steam” base for the flame illusion. This is the same core principle behind Dimplex’s Optimyst (water vapour) technology. 

LED Illumination → Flame Effect
LED lights shine through and around the mist. The combination of the mist’s three-dimensional volume and the LED lighting tricks the eye into perceiving swirling “flames” rising through a decorative log bed. There is no actual combustion, no real flame, and thus no heat output in this model.

Control & Adjustment
You can adjust the brightness or intensity of the flame effect (within its set palette). The unit typically includes remote control operation, enabling you to switch on/off or adjust settings from a distance.

Refill & Maintenance

The water tank (cassette) capacity is 1.2 litres. 

On one refill, the flame illusion can operate for up to 8 hours before needing water replenishment. 

The transducer typically has a limited lifespan (often around 12-24 months, depending on usage), and is relatively easy to replace (a new unit might cost in the region of €40-60, with replacement taking just a few minutes) 

A decorative log set is included: placed atop the cassette, the vapour rises through the logs to enhance realism.
